Job Title: Packaging TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Packaging Technician! In this role, you will play a critical part in the assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure the highest quality standards are met.Responsibilities Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility. Comply with all safety regulations and conduct all activities in a safe, efficient manner. Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products. Act as the primary performer of in-process and AQL inspections and other necessary tasks. Participate in the start-up and closure of packaging jobs. Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP. Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products. Perform computer-related tasks for job sign-in, in-process actions, and data entry. Perform counts of components and drug products. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly, GMP, labeling, cleanroom procedures, and packaging. Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain high standards. Strong mathematical skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages. Capability to interpret 2D diagrams and batch paperwork. Physical ability to stand continuously, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, bend frequently, squat, and reach above shoulder-level. Proficiency in reading, comprehending, and executing English work documents, including SOPs and safety procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and attention to detail. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with both hands. Capability to work independently or as part of a team. Initiative and adaptability to changing circumstances. Ability to accept and learn from feedback, especially related to Corrective or Preventative Actions. The job involves working in Primary, Secondary, Refrigerated (2 to 8° C), and cold (-20° C) environments. Personal Protective Equipment Certification (PPE), including but not limited to filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half face masks, and safety glasses, is required. Additional pay is provided for work in PAPR/Refrigerator and Freezer environments.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.25 - $28.57/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
