Seasonal Warehouse Production Operations Our Plover production plant in Wisconsin is hiring seasonal employees conducting warehouse production operations. Positions within this grade include Cart/Mule driver, Douglas Operator, Lift Driver, Case Stacker, Direct/Indirect Line Operator, Sundry Stock Coordinator, Container Workmanship, and Label Line Break Relief. These positions are under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor/Warehouse Manager. Position selection will be determined at time of hired based on skill level and requirements met. Cart/Mule Driver, Douglas Operator, Lift Driver, and Case Stacker position responsibilities: Operate forklift to remove full pallets of product from production lines. Assist shipping department which can entail scanning. Stage finished product or cans for loading. Supply production/label lines with supplies needed to keep production going. Fill out a daily check list for forklift at the beginning of shift, each day, in addition to bailing cardboard and plastic, as needed. Ensure pallets are tagged before removing them from lines. Direct/Indirect Line Operator position responsibilities: Operate label machine startup/shut down procedures and ensure machines are running properly on cans. Monitor product code and label codes to ensure proper labels are being applied to correct product. Monitor and clean glue tubes and feed belts; track inventory used and replace operation materials as needed. Operate any other warehouse machines/system once trained; ensure equipment is running efficiently. Notify crewleaders of any deficiencies and comply with lock out tag out procedures. Label Line Break Relief position responsibilities: Operate warehouse equipment and complete daily minor maintenance on equipment as trained. Complete required documentation accurately and perform quality checks to ensure a quality product is prepared. Interface with the computer (TrakSYS and TensorID) and inventory control processes. Operate forklift to move products and supplies in support of warehouse operations. Assist other warehouse personnel with work activities as needed. Container Workmanship position responsibilities: Continued checks on cans (using quality assurance guidelines) for proper coding or defects, assuring proper product is being sent to line when line starts up. Indirect or direct labeling lines: Continually check codes, label specs, tray printing, and tag printing for accuracy to ensure all Del Monte quality standards are met. Monitor all lines to ensure finished product meets all Del Monte quality standards. Monitor and report defects or exceptions are correctly recorded on the 'product certification' report and report. Sundry Stock Coordinator position responsibilities: Collect all cans daily from warehouse operating lines and the cookroom tagger station. Accurately record counts of each product, then stack product on proper pallets. Ensure proper tagging within warehouse system and coordinate removal of items. Minimum skills required: Ability to safely maintain a work pace appropriate to given workload. Able to work cooperatively with other co-workers. Must assure ALL paperwork is legible and correct. Must be able to read and understand product codes and styles. Able to understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision. Must be able to climb up on /off stock picker also, know and use safety harness and lanyard. Must be able to maintain proper records for this position. Must know and follow all forklift safety policies. Drivers/Stackers: Must be certified and qualified to operate a forklift. Ability to safely maintain a work pace appropriate to given workload. Able to work cooperatively with other co-workers. Must be able to lift propane tank weighing up to 75 lbs. Able to understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision. Must be able to climb up on/off forklift and turn body to drive in reverse when needed. Must know and follow all forklift safety policies. Preferred: Previous warehouse operations experience.
