Provides physical assistance and attendant care to home care clients in their place of residence. Provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) for home care clients only. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in providing service to frail elder clients according to assigned responsibilities and Home Care standards. This is a field position with a designated home office location and the incumbent is expected to travel when visiting patients in their homes. Qualifications Caregiver qualifications include: Must have a high school diploma or GED. Completion of training in specific areas as required by state regulations governing home care service providers. One year of experience as a personal caregiver with frail elderly is preferred. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required. Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver's license. Independently visit patients in their homes.
