Job Description

Microscope Assembly Technician We are seeking a detail-oriented Microscope Assembly Technician to support the production of precision components and assemblies. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling prepped components, subassemblies, and finished products while working under a microscope and using a variety of specialized tools and equipment. This position requires strong attention to detail, steady hands, and the ability to follow technical instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform small-part assembly using a microscope and other precision assembly tools Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished units according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards Inspect parts under a microscope to verify accuracy, alignment, cleanliness, and adherence to specifications Use a variety of hand tools (tweezers, torque drivers, micro-soldering tools, etc.) Maintain a clean and organized workspace; follow cleanroom or controlled-environment protocols when required Record production data, complete documentation, and communicate any defects or variances Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow Perform basic troubleshooting and rework of assemblies when needed Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures Skills & Related Experience Candidates with experience in the following areas are often a strong match: Precision assembly Electronics assembly Manufacturing or production technician work Cleanroom assembly or semiconductor-related tasks Blueprint or technical drawing interpretation Working with hand tools and micro-tools Microscope-based inspection or assembly Medical device or electronic component assembly Small-part or fine-motor assembly roles Qualifications Experience with small-part assembly required Microscope assembly or inspection experience preferred, but training is available for candidates eager to learn Familiarity with electronic or medical device assembly is a plus Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills Ability to follow detailed instructions, work instructions, and quality standards Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively High attention to detail and ability to work with delicate components Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
