Furniture Assembly Technician We are seeking skilled individuals to perform the first assembly of high-end office furniture. This role involves using various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products, ensuring precision and quality in every piece. Responsibilities Assemble high-end office furniture using hand and power tools. Operate table saws, band saws, miter saws, and other woodworking equipment. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly. Conduct inspections to maintain quality standards. Prepare and paint wood surfaces using spray guns and industrial painting techniques. Essential Skills Proficiency in carpentry and cabinetry. Experience with custom cabinetry and finish carpentry. Ability to read blueprints and tape measure. Knowledge of woodworking tools such as miter saws, table saws, and bandsaws. 6+ months of manufacturing, general labor, farming, or construction experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in machine operation is preferred but not required. Skills in paint prep and packaging are advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a newly built Milling department featuring excellent ventilation and lighting. Utilize new equipment and tools in a well-organized manufacturing process. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection (provided), with the option to wear jeans or shorts during summer. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 6am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
