Job Requirements As a Delivery Driver, your main responsibility is to deliver merchandise accurately, safely, and on time, while providing exceptional customer service. Essential Job Functions: Deliver merchandise promptly and accurately to customers, while ensuring that it is in good condition. Contact customers to confirm delivery details and determine the placement of merchandise. Follow safety and lifting protocols during deliveries. Drive, inspect, load, and unload merchandise, and assist with installation (if applicable) Use Theatro for communication and wear the assigned headset daily. Accurately and efficiently cash customers out using our Point of Sale (POS) system. Encourage customers to join our Loyalty Program. Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and through online orders. Fulfill online orders promptly, accurately, and efficiently. Escalate any customer issues to management promptly. Maintain department orderliness and store cleanliness. Follow DOT and CDL regulations (if applicable) to keep yourself and others safe while driving. Above all, ensure that you provide world-class customer service and make customers feel valued throughout their shopping experience, providing "The Aubuchon Difference." Work Experience Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Valid Class A or Class B license (with airbrake endorsement). Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements. 6 months of in-home delivery OR retail customer service highly preferred. Weekend Availability Preferred. Positive and professional personality. Strong customer service and organizational skills. Should be able to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic math concepts. Ability to stand and walk in a store consistently for up to 4 hours or more at a time. Routinely bend, climb, and twist; the position requires the ability to retrieve, move, and stock products. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must have the ability to process information and merchandise through a register system.
