Registration Clerk Surgical Institute of Reading is hiring for a Registration Clerk! Welcome to Surgical Institute of Reading. Registration Clerk at Surgical Institute of Reading interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff. Admit patients and process their paperwork, update patient demographics/information in system, collect monies due and document in the billing system, handle funds per office procedure, answer incoming phone calls, filing and other duties as needed. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Must have 2 years of customer service experience. Medical background preferred but not necessary. Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties. Excellent communication skills. Must be willing to cross train in other areas. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, with an occasional Saturday shift. 6:00am - 2:30pm. Must have flexibility with early starts.
