Village Caregiving is the nation's largest privately owned home care agency. We are seeking a In-Home Caregivers in the Danville and Lancaster areas. You will provide routine care assistance to clients in their home or in a care facility. We offer flexible schedules for all of our caregivers, part-time, full-time, days, nights or weekends.BENEFITS Flexible schedule Referral program Supplemental Insurance Bonuses offered Paid training provided, including CPR RESPONSIBILITIES Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals Report information about conditions and treatment plans Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members and directors Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency REQUIREMENTS Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills Physical endurance to complete required tasks High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation and car insurance Pass drug screen and federal background check We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws
