Final Assembly Technician - 1st Shift M-Th 6am-4:30pm $24/hr Who We Are Lantech is the global leader in stretch wrapping technology-and the original inventor of the rotary stretch wrapper. Why You Matter As a Final Assembly Technician, you play a critical role in ensuring our equipment performs reliably before it reaches our customers. The machines you assemble, test, and troubleshoot directly impact product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure every machine meets Lantech standards. What You'll Do As a Final Assembly Technician, you will: Assemble mechanical and electrical components of stretch wrap machines Perform final assembly, machine run-off, and troubleshooting Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete builds Support hardware and software integration, including basic PLC/ladder logic interaction Cross-train to support sub-assembly and custom machine options Assist with equipment setup and tear down in partnership with the Rigging team Follow standardized work instructions to meet Lantech quality standards Collaborate with team members to complete machines efficiently and on time What We're Looking For Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics Minimum of 2 years of wiring experience Mechanical or manufacturing assembly experience Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes Strong teamwork and communication skills Good attendance and reliability Willingness to adapt to engineering or customer changes Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE High School Diploma or equivalent Desired Experience Completion of Lantech LEAP Levels 1 & 2 (or willingness to complete) Experience with machine assembly, run-off, and troubleshooting Familiarity with PLCs or ladder logic Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Why You'll Love Working at Lantech We believe great work happens when people feel supported, challenged, and valued.
