Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Local) Location: Hackensack, NJ Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible extension) Pay Rate: $60 - $70/hr. on W2 Shift: Night Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays as Needed (No On-Call) Interview Requirement: Quick turnaround Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. The role involves monitoring patient progress, assisting with deliveries, and supporting patient safety in a fast-paced clinical environment. Candidates should be confident in managing labor patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure positive outcomes. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care during labor and delivery Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor Assist physicians during deliveries and procedures Administer medications and support patient care plans Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe patient outcomes Requirements: Active RN License (NJ or Compact State) BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required Recent 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-volume Labor & Delivery units Strong fetal monitoring and patient assessment skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
