About the Job Registered Dental HygienistLocation: Abington, MA Position Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Tuesday: OFF (potential availability at a nearby location) Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:00am - 3:00pm Compensation: Hourly Rate: $50-$58/hour Annualized Compensation: Approximately $104,000 - $120,640/year (based on full-time schedule) Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join a modern, well-established practice committed to delivering high-quality, concierge-level care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment with one-hour recall appointments, allowing you to provide thorough, comprehensive care while building strong relationships with your patients. You will be supported by a highly engaged clinical team and have access to ongoing professional development, including participation in a Hygiene Executive Committee that helps guide clinical excellence and growth. Located in Abington, MA, this South Shore community offers a convenient suburban setting with easy access to Boston, along with a strong sense of community and nearby recreational opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on education and trust-building Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapies in alignment with doctor treatment plans Identify signs of periodontal disease, oral pathology, and overall oral health concerns Take and interpret radiographs and intraoral images Accurately document patient medical histories, conditions, and treatment notes Collaborate closely with the dentist and clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Respond appropriately to any medical or dental emergencies during treatment Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and ongoing preventative care Qualifications: Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Massachusetts Current CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical knowledge of hygiene procedures, patient screening, and documentation Excellent communication skills and a patient-first mindset Any additional certification or license required by the state to perform assigned duties Benefits: Competitive hourly compensation with quarterly bonus opportunities Flexible health and vision insurance plan options 401(k) with employer matching Generous PTO: up to 3 weeks accrued plus an annual personal "you" day Hygiene Executive Committee participation for leadership and growth In-house dental program with discounted services for employees and immediate family Annual scrub allowance Additional perks and fringe benefits Full benefits available for employees working 30+ hours per week; some benefits may be available to part-time employees as well
