Description Job Overview: As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper at Del Webb Nocatee, you'll be responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry. Your Responsibilities: Operate industrial dishwasher. Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary. Empty and clean all trash receptacles Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources. Clean dish storage. Follow sanitation policies at all times. Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times Perform opening, closing and side work assigned. Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately. Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party. Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies. Skills & Qualifications: Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary. Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment. Possess strong interpersonal skills andis able tointeract and communicate successfully to the residents and team. Must be able to clearly communicate with various types of communications. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job function Ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures. Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time; Climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3ft); Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment; Reach with hands and arms; Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers; Schedule: 10 am - 6pm Weekdays/Weekends What We Offer: As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.
