We are seeking an experiencedFamily Law Attorney (5+ years)to join our growing legal team. This is aremote position, however candidatesmust live in Arizonato attend court hearings, mediations, or client meetings as needed. This role requires strong legal writing skills, courtroom confidence, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients experiencing high-stress situations. Our firm prioritizesquality representation over volume, allowing attorneys to focus on strategy, client counseling, and advocacy rather than administrative burdens.Key ResponsibilitiesLitigation & AdvocacyRepresent clients in family law matters including:Divorce / Dissolution of MarriageLegal Decision-Making and Parenting TimeChild SupportSpousal MaintenanceProperty and Debt DivisionPost-Decree ModificationsEnforcement and Contempt proceedingsOrders of Protection matters as related to family law casesAttend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trialsDevelop case strategy and litigation plansAdvocate effectively in contested mattersCase ManagementManage assigned caseload from start to finishDraft and review pleadings, motions, memoranda, and settlement agreementsConduct legal research and analysisPrepare clients for hearings, mediation, and trialCollaborate with paralegals to ensure organized and complete disclosuresEnsure compliance with Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure, including Rule 49 disclosure requirementsMaintain accurate and timely billing entriesClient CommunicationProvide clear legal guidance and strategic adviceMaintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progressDemonstrate empathy while maintaining professional objectivityHelp clients understand risks, options, and likely outcomesProfessional DevelopmentStay current on developments in Arizona family lawParticipate in ongoing training and professional growth opportunitiesContribute to a culture focused on continuous improvementQualificationsRequiredJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive member of the Arizona State Bar in good standingMinimum5 years of family law experienceStrong litigation experienceExperience handling contested divorce and custody mattersStrong legal writing and research skillsExcellent negotiation and courtroom advocacy skillsAbility to manage deadlines and priorities effectivelyProfessional communication skillsMust live inArizonaTrial experience in family courtExperience handling high-conflict custody mattersExperience with complex financial issues and property divisionFamiliarity with Clio or similar case management softwareExperience working in a paperless legal environmentTechnology & SupportWe invest heavily in technology and support staff so attorneys can focus on practicing law.
