Executive Chef Lee Wolen shares his passion for fresh, delicious Italian food made simply with the best ingredients.The Role Working closely with the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager plays a hands-on leadership role in daily dining room operations, service execution, and team development. This position helps ensure exceptional hospitality while supporting staff education, operational systems, and overall restaurant performance. What You’ll Do Support daily dining room operations and lead service from the floor Educate and coach staff on service standards, beverage knowledge, and overall hospitality Manage the floor during service, including touching tables, running food, supporting staff, and overseeing the door Open and close the restaurant, including preparing and reconciling closing banks and completing end-of-day procedures Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities with the team Assist in training, mentoring, and developing front-of-house staff Write FOH schedules based on business levels, team strengths, events, and labor goals Support inventory processes and assist with monitoring COGS and labor targets Participate in management meetings and contribute to operational planning Coordinate restaurant maintenance and repair needs with approved vendors Who You Are An experienced hospitality leader with 2–3+ years in a similar management role Experienced in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environments Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards Comfortable leading service while remaining present and hands-on on the floor Organized, detail-oriented, and confident in managing teams and operations Experienced with restaurant systems such as OpenTable and Aloha Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Why This Role Work in a focused and driven dining room around like-minded people committed to delivering exceptional hospitality every day Be part of a restaurant that values service standards, mentorship, and longevity Opportunity to work in a restaurant within Boka Restaurant Group, who value promotion from within and growing their people to new positions and roles Benefits & Perks: Health, Dental, and Voluntary Benefits Package (available after 90 days), employer-sponsored mental health and resource program, 401(k) program, life insurance, wellness benefits, paid parental leave, paid vacation, career mentorship and growth potential, and dining incentives across our 20+ establishments!
