Job Details Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Hospital Night Shift (Travel CNA) Location: Avon, OH 44011 (Cleveland area, Northeast Ohio) Contract Type: Travel, W2 Start Date: March 23, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (3x12s per week) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $710 - $760 (travel CNA pay estimate) Number of Openings: 1 Job Requirements / Qualifications Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, state-compliant (required for hospital CNA roles) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification as required by the facility or state Minimum 2 years of hospital experience; inpatient rehab experience preferred (hospital CNA experience valued) Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting Strong commitment to patient and employee safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams Responsibilities Provide routine patient care under RN supervision: bedside care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), hygiene, and patient mobility Promote patient and employee safety by following safe patient handling, infection control, and fall prevention protocols Assist patients with menu selections and dietary needs: assemble and deliver meals, update dietary information as needed Document care provided and observations accurately in accordance with hospital standards and electronic medical record (EMR) policies Support unit operations by performing clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining supplies Attend in-services and departmental meetings to stay current with best practices for hospital CNAs Collaborate with the care team and perform additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth unit operations Why Avon, OH & Cleveland Area Travel Healthcare Avon is a vibrant suburb just west of Cleveland, offering a friendly atmosphere, dining and shopping options, and beautiful parks.
