In this role, you'll collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to clinical excellence, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth - all while serving the Plano community.Local Team Collaboration:We take pride in our well-established team at Texas Health PlanoAt Texas Health Plano, our strong collaborative team includes board-certified critical care physicians and acute care trained advanced practice providersQualifications:Board-certified acute care trained Nurse Practitioner with unrestricted licensePrior ICU APP practice time - minimum of 3-years post training practiceActive Texas licenseAbility to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and arterial linesAuthorized to work in the United StatesScheduling:PRN- No set monthly shift commitment, offering flexibility to schedule shifts as available and based on the program needKey Responsibilities:Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical / surgical /cardiac / neuro ICU patientsDemonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists; demonstrate ability to work autonomously and multitask within the critical care teamCommit to excellence in the clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patientsMust provide evidence of procedural competence with the following procedures: central lines, arterial lines, intubations and chest tubesEMR is EpicLiving and Working in Plano: Ranked the most affluent city in the nation and home to numerous top companies, Plano features dining, shopping, and outdoor activities.
