Superintendent Education And Healthcare Construction This client is a highly respected general contractor that has been building in Dane County for over 100 years. Client Snapshot: Project types: Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, and Technology Project Size: Range from $5M to $50M Project Location: ALL local to Madison - no travel involved Culture: Tight-knit culture where everyone knows everyone Retention: One of the best retention rates in the Madison market Job Description Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure efficient and safe operations. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, labor crews, and field personnel. Enforce project schedules and sequencing to meet milestones and deadlines. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes. Maintain a safe jobsite by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular inspections. Track daily progress, resolve field issues, and document site activities. Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure timely approvals. Communicate effectively with project managers to align field execution with project goals. The Successful Applicant 3+ years of experience as lead superintendent Track record of delivering commercial, healthcare, education, or industrial builds Experience on projects valued at $5M+ Ability to manage both subcontractor and self-perform crews Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of all relevant safety guidelines and procedures Passion for construction What's On Offer Base salary of $100,000 to $125,000 dependent on qualifications 3 Weeks PTO Company truck + gas card Strong health, dental, and vision plans And much more!
