Machine Operator - Support

Machine Operator - Support Black Bear Talent is recruiting a Support Machine Operator. This position is responsible for safely operating equipment, supporting production goals, and contributing to continuous improvement within a team-based manufacturing environment. The role requires attention to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork. Shift Schedule: This is a 12-hour night shift position working a 2 - 2 - 3. Starting pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Perform all job duties in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Actively participate in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs. Production & Quality Meet or exceed established productivity and performance standards. Complete all required production, quality, and safety documentation accurately and timely. Troubleshoot and resolve quality or productivity issues related to equipment or team processes. Make necessary adjustments to machinery to maintain optimal performance. Coordinate with Lab personnel, Team Leaders, and Senior Team Leaders to address issues and implement improvements. Continuous Improvement & Teamwork Maintain a positive team-oriented attitude and contribute to a collaborative work environment. Identify and suggest improvements to processes, procedures, and equipment. Support and uphold 6S standards and perform housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area. Obtain and maintain required Operator Certifications. Assist with training and mentoring other team members as needed. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Obtain and maintain Operator Certification. Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience. Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
