Front End Loader Operator II The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and related material-handling equipment to move, load, and position vehicles and automotive components throughout the Manheim auction lot. This role supports auction preparation, vehicle flow, and operational efficiency by ensuring vehicles and materials are handled with accuracy, care, and safety. Forklift & Equipment Operation Operate forklifts to safely transport vehicles on and off racks, shelves, or transport trailers. Move and organize automotive parts, tires, engines, and salvage materials as needed. Properly lift vehicles using approved lifting points and equipment. Perform daily safety inspections and report mechanical issues immediately. Assist with operating additional equipment (tug, skid steer, yard tractor) if trained/certified. Auction Lot Operations Support vehicle movement for sale day, staging lanes, and post-sale processing. Assist mechanical and body shop teams by moving vehicles into service bays. Position vehicles for imaging, condition reports, or detailing. Load and unload vehicles from carrier trucks following Manheim safety guidelines. Assist with organizing no-key, inoperable, and salvage inventory areas. Safety & Compliance Follow all Manheim safety protocols and OSHA guidelines. Maintain awareness of pedestrian traffic and high-activity zones. Comply with environmental rules when handling parts, fluids, or damaged vehicles. Wear required PPE (high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots, gloves). Immediately report hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years' experience in a related field Safe drivers needed; driver's license required Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
