Job Description Manufacturing Supervisor Pay Rate: $35-40 per hourShift 4:45am-3:30pm Position Summary The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily assembly operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. This role leads hourly employees, supports continuous improvement, and serves as a key link between production teams and management. The position splits time between the office and the manufacturing floor and is typically assigned to a specific shift.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure all assembly activities are completed to the highest quality standards.Identify production process issues, analyze root causes, and provide daily and weekly production reports to support continuous improvement efforts.Monitor employee assignments, progress, time, and attendance, including oversight of overtime to ensure fair and consistent distribution.Supervise the safe and proper use of tools and equipment, reinforcing safety policies and procedures at all times.Lead daily shift huddle meetings and regular group leader meetings to communicate priorities, safety topics, and performance updates.Maintain accurate daily and weekly operating reports related to production, staffing, and performance metrics.Knowledge, Skills, and QualificationsBachelor's degree required.2-5 years of general manufacturing experience, with 2-5 years of direct supervisory experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and collaborate effectively.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail.Physical Effort RequirementsThe role requires regular use of close, distance, peripheral, and color vision to read screens, reports, and production documentation accurately.Must be able to communicate clearly through regular hearing and verbal interaction in a manufacturing setting.Requires consistent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to use computers, office equipment, tools, and controls.Must be able to regularly move throughout the facility, including bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching.Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required with proper balance.Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and push, pull, or carry objects as needed.Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive or physically demanding tasks as required.Working ConditionsThis position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment.
