DC Quality Specialist This position provides administrative oversight of Quality Assurance (QA) activities, with accountability for reducing financial and compliance risk tied to quality failures. The role exercises independent judgment in audit coordination, data analysis, non-marketable product disposition decisions, and corrective actions when appropriate to prevent chargebacks, rework costs, customer penalties, and non-compliance, serving as a key control point for quality-related operational and financial risk. Associate Responsibilities: Provide administrative leadership and coordination for quality-related activities to reduce financial, operational, and compliance risk by ensuring documentation accuracy, process consistency, and adherence to internal quality standards and customer requirements. Collaborate with DC Quality Supervisors, internal teams, 3PL partners, and external vendors to plan product-related quality activities, develop rework plans, track corrective actions, and support effective resolution of quality issues. Coordinate, develop, and maintain comprehensive quality reporting related to DC customer audits, rework activities, damaged product classification, audit outcomes, and compliance metrics. Oversee the creation, accuracy, and execution of system-generated distribution tasks supporting product movement for sample audits, inspections, and conformance validations. Analyze audit, rework, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, and develop recommendations to eliminate barriers and optimize quality processes. Exercise independent judgment to make final determinations regarding non-marketable product received into the distribution center network by evaluating product condition, recoverability options, and overall financial and operational business impact. Own decision-making for assigned purchase order (PO) funding and rework spend management across third-party and internal rework activities, including monitoring spend and depletion trends, determining replenishment levels, and reviewing, validating, and approving rework vendor invoices to ensure accurate documentation, effective cost control, and timely payment processing. Review and resolve inventory locks related to quality concerns or investigations, exercising independent judgment to determine appropriate product disposition, including release, reclassification, or removal, based on quality findings and risk assessment. Manage QA-related records, reports, schedules, and communications, serving as a primary liaison across quality, transportation, planning, and 3PL teams, and identifying, escalating, and communicating quality or operational issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, certification maintenance, 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards. Manage outbound audit reporting processes, including evaluation of chargeback data to determine customers eligible for expanded or 100% audit coverage. Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required Skills & Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of administrative experience supporting business operations, compliance, or quality-related functions, requiring independent judgment and coordination across teams. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in product quality, auditing, or an equivalent quality-related function. Minimum of two (2) years of garment workmanship education or equivalent professional experience. Working knowledge of inbound and outbound distribution center (DC) processes. Associate's degree in business administration or a related field preferred. Bookkeeping and/or auditing experience preferred. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, and third-party logistics (3PL) service providers preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills to support effective coordination across teams. Proficient mathematical skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, documentation, records, and reports with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to remain composed in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.
