Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Onsite Seattle Pay Rate: $28$34 per hour Schedule: Full-Time | MondayFriday Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting team in Seattle. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with high-volume transactions, and the ability to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external clients. Key Responsibilities: Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on outstanding balances Perform daily cash application and reconcile incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, and credit card) Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies, payment status, and account inquiries Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies Prepare regular reporting on AR aging and collections activity Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable Maintain accurate customer records and documentation Support audit requests and maintain organized AR files Qualifications: 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience Experience working with high invoice or transaction volumes Strong understanding of accounting principles related to receivables Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work onsite in Seattle Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated billing or AR systems Experience preparing aging reports and collection analysis Experience working in a mid-size or growing organization Benefits: LHH Recruitment Solutions benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
