Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $17.50 - $18 / hourWhat you'll be doing as a General Laborer: Ensure adherence to safety standards and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Load and unload materials from storage areas, production areas, docks, and delivery vehicles Sort and separate various types of scrap metal Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, skid steers, street sweepers, and water trucks Perform physical labor using tools such as torch cutting tools, chop saws, and other metal-processing tools used in welding and fabrication work Assist mechanics in equipment maintenance and repairs Identify grades and types of scrap metals and remove non-conforming materials Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties around plant equipment Direct or assist customers and truck drivers in the yard Available shifts: Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) Job requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Ability to read, write, and perform basic math Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor industrial conditions Background check and drug screening required Ready to take control of the way you work?
