Competitive compensation: $60 $80/hour + bonusNo call and no after-hours chartingFlexible scheduling with monthly schedules released in advanceFull-time providers are off more days than they workSupportive clinical environment with accessible medical leadership Position Overview NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Lewisville, TX.This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and want to make a meaningful impact while practicing in a well-supported urgent care setting.You will treat a broad patient population with generally low-to-moderate acuity, allowing you to maintain a wide clinical skillset without inpatient responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all agesManage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visitsPerform procedures including suturing, I&Ds, splinting, and wound careOrder and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imagingProvide clear patient education and discharge instructionsDocument care accurately and efficiently in the EHRMaintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas license (NP or PA)Board certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA)Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)Active BLS certificationAbility to treat patients of all agesEHR proficiencyWillingness to work occasional weekends and holidaysDOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)Minimum of 1 year of urgent care experience or 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience Preferred Qualifications Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experienceStrong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)Experience with initial X-ray interpretation Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k)Malpractice coverageCME/licensure reimbursementPTO and sick time About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation s largest urgent care providers, with over 160 locations across 11 states.
