Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on production and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain, service, and repair motors, VFDs, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and electrical control panels. Identify and resolve electrical failures efficiently to reduce downtime and maintain production schedules. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and plant equipment. Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic. Assist with equipment installations, line modifications, and system upgrades. Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, food safety requirements, and applicable electrical codes. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and arc-flash safety standards at all times. Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders within the CMMS or maintenance logs. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably within food or beverage manufacturing environments. Strong working knowledge of PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or comparable platforms). Hands-on experience with VFDs, servo systems, motors, and industrial automation equipment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and work safely with 480V, three-phase electrical systems. Experience with HMIs and industrial networking is a plus. Electrical license or certification (state-issued or journeyman level) preferred. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in environments that may include hot, cold, or wet conditions. Strong commitment to workplace safety, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.
