Job Description CAD Developer III Location: Redmond, Washington (On-site) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview This position requires a CAD Developer to create and enhance custom features for engineering applications. The role involves developing desktop applications that interface with various engineering and manufacturing systems. The developer will work with multiple engineering teams to provide technical support and help establish successful development processes. Key Responsibilities Develop custom NX features and applications using NXOpen with a primary focus on C#. Develop custom desktop applications to interact with NX, Teamcenter, ERP, and related engineering or manufacturing data. Collaborate with multiple engineering teams, provide technical support, and create and develop processes to enable success. Required Qualifications Experience: 7+ years in CAD software development and customization, with a strong focus on Siemens NX. Extensive experience with NX Open is required. Technical Skills: Proficiency in C# is mandatory. Experience with Python and other .NET languages is also relevant. A strong understanding of 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts is necessary. Candidates must have experience integrating CAD systems with other enterprise software such as PLM, ERP, Harnessing, and ECAD tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience with a manufacturing background. Experience with NX2306+ and TC14+. Checkmate development experience. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms. Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) using GitHub or other tools.
