Quality Tester - Senior

Description: Overall Purpose: Provide test case writing oversight, requirements review, subject matter expertise on enterprise wide application test execution. . Roles & Responsibilities: 1) Requirements review - collaboration with analysts to update requirements where needed. 2) Triage defects and report on defect impacts. 3) Troubleshoot defects /non defects for functional area of expertise that are blocking test progress. 4) Subject Matter Expert in at least 1 functional area per application the tester works on. 5) Write test cases from a variety of documentation types. 6) Applies test expertise and experience to execute test plans, conduct negative/exception tests, verification, performance and regression testing, and UAT testing. 7) Full understanding of all aspects of Defect lifecycle. 8) Understanding of structured SDLC environment.
