This role ensures parts meet stringent customer and regulatory requirements by developing robust CMM programs and leading inspection activities across production.---What You’ll DoCreate CMM inspection programs from drawings, blueprints, and CAD modelsOrganize, maintain, and control inspection program librariesInstall and validate programs across multiple CMM machinesPerform first article, first piece, in-process, and final inspectionsMeasure parts using CMMs and other precision instrumentsVerify conformance to engineering specifications and tolerancesContinuously improve existing inspection programsProvide technical guidance and support to other inspectorsMaintain accurate inspection documentation and recordsCommunicate findings with Quality, Engineering, and Production teamsPerform additional duties as assigned---What You’ll Need to SucceedRequired Experience3+ years of CMM programming and inspection experienceExperience creating programs from CAD models and engineering drawingsStrong understanding of GD&T principlesWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systemsExperience performing first article inspections (FAI)Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilityStrong organizational and prioritization skillsEffective communication skillsTechnical SkillsOperation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)Use of precision measuring instruments, fixtures, and templatesStrong computer proficiencyEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical training in machining, manufacturing, or design preferred---About B & R Machine, Inc.Founded in 1984, B & R Machine has grown into a major CNC manufacturing provider in Western Massachusetts.
