Pastry Cook – Full Time Café Vivant is seeking a full-time pastry cook. We are the latest addition to the culinary scene on the peninsula and you will be working alongside a highly-motivated professional culinary team. This position will focus primarily on pastry production and dessert service, with some savory prep as needed. The pastry cook will be responsible for producing simple, well-executed desserts during service, with an emphasis on precision, consistency, and clean presentation. Our menu highlights seasonality and elegant, modern interpretations of classic desserts, and we are looking for someone who shares an interest in thoughtful, ingredient-driven pastry.Qualifications At least 1 year of pastry experience, or recent culinary school graduate with a focus on pastry. This is a great opportunity for a cook looking to develop strong pastry fundamentals in a focused, quality-driven kitchen. Compensation: $25-$30/hr based on experience.
