Looking for a June 1st start Our client, a well-known company in the rideshare and transportation industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Accounts Payable team on a contract basis. This role will provide coverage for a parental leave and offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact finance function. Experience with inventory transactions and three-way match billing required Title Senior Accountant (Accounts Payable) Location San Francisco, CA (Hybrid onsite Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) Pay Rate $52.86/hour Contract Approx. 5-month contract (leave coverage) Description Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support their Accounts Payable function. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across AP operations while partnering cross-functionally with key business units. Responsibilities include: Approve all invoices in the Support batch payment processing as a backup to the AP Manager Prepare multi-period accounting workbooks and confirm accuracy with FP&A Partner with Accounting, Supply Chain, Operational Markets, and FP&A to resolve issues and improve processes Serve as a resource for troubleshooting complex accounting matters Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and suppliers by proactively managing issue resolution Participate in special projects as needed Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting required 3+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Strong accounting research and problem-solving abilities Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask Strong analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative) Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Experience with Oracle preferred Experience with inventory transactions and three-way match billing required Education Bachelors degree in Accounting required Apply Today!
