Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

Job Description: We are seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner to join our hospitalist team in Potsdam, NY. Hospitalists provide specialized inpatient care, managing acutely ill adult patients and coordinating their treatment plans with primary care providers. Key Responsibilities: Provide general medical care to hospitalized patients Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and medical conditions Examine patients upon admission Coordinate patient care with hospital staff and primary care physicians Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, lab work, and imaging Maintain accurate patient records and charting in EPIC
