If so, the Office of Administration, Employment Banking and Revenue Technology Services Office, may have the position for you! We are searching for a reliable Computer Operator 2 to play a vital role in monitoring and operating our state of the art RICOH print department. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Computer Operator 2, you will be tasked with ensuring efficient and uninterrupted production by monitoring job processing, verifying output accuracy, and promptly addressing or escalating system and equipment issues. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-volume printing systems, including managing print jobs, resolving jams, and performing routine maintenance such as replacing toner and cleaning equipment. Work also involves monitoring print quality, distributing output according to established procedures, and maintaining organized stock and supply areas. You will have the opportunity to support data and media handling processes for secure information exchange and backup operations while adapting to new systems, reports, and procedures as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and recording operational data, including meter readings, and communicating technical issues with supervisors and service technicians. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Computer Operator 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of experience in operating computer and an associate degree with major course work in data processing; or Two years of experience in operating computers; and graduation from high school; or equivalent certification or formal training. Formal training in electronic data processing may be substituted for experience at the rate of 25 hours for one month, to a maximum of 12 months.
