Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Nurse Practitioners with a strong background in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and co-occurring psychiatric conditions . This role supports patients through virtual outpatient services and In-Home Addiction Treatment (IHAT) programs. Providers must be licensed and able to prescribe independently in the state(s) they support. States : CT, MA, IN, NH, KY, OH, VA, GA, ME, RI, FL Responsibilities Conduct initial and follow-up visits for both substance use and psychiatric disorders Provide MAT induction, management, and follow-up care Perform psychiatric evaluations and BPS assessments AmbD initial and discharge visits Consultations (initial + follow-ups) Care coordination and SOT visits Review treatment plans and other clinical documents Deliver IHAT services, including intake assessments and care coordination Requirements Active PMHNP license and prescribing authority in applicable state(s) Must have SUD experience Experience with MAT, psychiatric evaluations, and ongoing med management Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and comfort with virtual care Ability to participate in weekend on-call rotation DirectShifts is an Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
