Job DescriptionJoin an innovative inpatient facility dedicated to addressing mental health and substance use disorders. This role is perfect for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner eager to provide comprehensive care, ensuring patients achieve mental health stabilization. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver impactful care, weekdays from 8 AM to 4 PM.Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Inpatient- Start Date: ASAP- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM- Patient Population: Adult- Location: Brockton, MA- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidatesBenefits- Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, including prescribing medications and psychotherapeutic interventions.- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans and provide crisis intervention.- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation.- Collaborate with the care team to optimize treatment plans and coordinate with external stakeholders, including family members and case managers. Qualifications- 1+ years of inpatient psychiatry experience- Board certification and PMHNP certification required- Licensed or able to obtain a license in Massachusetts with controlled substance authorization- Experience with vulnerable populations and substance abuse- Commitment to non-stigmatizing, inclusive careWorking Hours- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Skills- Strong clinical evaluation and diagnostic capability- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team- Exceptional communication and crisis intervention skills- Proficiency in developing and executing treatment plans
