JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Simpsonville, SC • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: 06/01/2026 - Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (7a - 5p) or 5 x 8-hour shifts (7a - 3p) • On-Call Shift Schedule: Weekday home call 3p - 7a; 24-hour weekend call • Call Type: Home Call • Call Ratio: Approximately once every 1-2 weeks • Call Response Time: 30-45 minutes COVERAGE DATES • Ongoing coverage beginning June 1, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adolescents and Adults (approximately ages 15-100) • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 200 cases • Case Mix: General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, Orthopedics and other routine anesthesia cases FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard anesthesia equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Surgical and hospital specialty support teams • Support Staff Available: One Anesthesia Technician • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage to maintain anesthesia staffing schedule PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: No • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 4 months with active SC license; 5-6 months if license required COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia procedures • Obstetric anesthesia • ENT anesthesia • Orthopedic anesthesia JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active South Carolina CRNA License • Board: NBCRNA Certification Required • DEA: Active DEA Certification • Certifications: BLS and ACLS • Experience: Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required • Other Qualifications: CSR registration required, Epic EMR experience preferred, clean malpractice history, mandatory vaccines per facility policy DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures • Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration • Provide perioperative patient care and pain management • Participate in rotating clinical and call schedules with anesthesia team • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
