Job Description

Material Handler Forklift As a Material Handler, you will maintain inventory identification and locations, deliver items to the production line, operate a forklift, and unload trucks and racks. The role involves using stand-up and sit-down forklifts, as well as a pallet jack. This position primarily requires being on foot to deliver items to assembly and production areas via pallet jack or push cart. Responsibilities Maintain inventory identification and locations. Correct and transfer items in the MRP system. Move received items from dock to assigned inventory locations. Label and move rejected items to the non-conforming skids to QA office. Use restocking list or answer production requests to deliver items to the production line. Inspect products to ensure they are correct before delivering to production. Complete material/inventory investigations to ensure accurate physical and system representation. Essential Skills Previous experience with stand-up forklift. Ability to repetitively lift 30-40lb parts, up to 50+ times per day. Must own steel toed or composite toed protective shoes. Ability to work safely and with high quality based on standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in assembly within a production environment is preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes a standard fabrication and assembly operation, with no conveyors in the main production area. The shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift from 6am to 4:30pm, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. Required PPE includes steel toes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut gloves, with a dress code of cotton, canvas, or denim pants, worn with belts if needed, and no hoods over the head. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
