Required Skills: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia Proven experience in general medicine or primary care Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and patient rapport-building abilities Ability to work independently and adhere to medical protocols Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience working with Veterans or in a VA setting Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing Knowledge of VA healthcare regulations and procedures Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP) Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner Experience in outpatient or primary care clinics Other Requirements: Ability to operate independently in a clinical setting Must have own office space if performing in-person assessments Willingness to travel as needed within Virginia Basic life support (BLS) certification This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your professional portfolio while supporting our nation's heroes.
