Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 - $2,430 Location: Hyannis, MA 02601 — Cape Cod, Massachusetts Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 29, 2026) Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: Rotating days and evening shifts (3p-11p, 4p-12a); each shift is 8 hours in duration; every other weekend & occasional holidays On-site position: In-person Radiology / Imaging department role Job Requirements Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist, X-ray Technologist, or Rad Tech in a clinical setting Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or registry-eligible Active State of Massachusetts radiology license (or ability to obtain MA license prior to start) Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English effectively Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation in accordance with department protocols and safety standards Prepare and position patients for imaging exams; ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Set up imaging equipment, select proper modalities and technical factors, and choose appropriate transducer types/frequencies when applicable Obtain and review patient history and clinical data to assist radiologists and physicians with diagnosis Label and maintain radiology images and records for accurate identification and reporting Assist radiologists with special procedures and needle biopsies as needed Follow infection control policies, radiation safety practices, and HIPAA/confidentiality standards Participate in departmental education, quality improvement, and professional development Perform related duties as assigned to support the imaging team and patient care Why Join This Travel Radiology Job in Hyannis, MA Work in a well-equipped hospital imaging department on Cape Cod with a supportive healthcare team Opportunity to gain travel Rad Tech experience and expand skills in diagnostic imaging Enjoy the Hyannis community — beaches, local dining, and seasonal attractions while contracting in Massachusetts Apply now to be considered for this Radiologic Technologist travel contract in Hyannis, MA.
