CNC Machinist Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist, where you will safely operate complex production equipment and utilize manufacturing software and tools in the creation and packaging of various products. You will follow digital work instructions, blueprints, and schematics to ensure products meet customer specifications and tolerance levels. Your role involves executing equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustaining production. You will also make necessary adjustments to existing equipment, provide continuous feedback for process improvement, and conduct quality control and in-process production testing. Responsibilities Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, and pressures to ensure adherence to production specifications. Report malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Efficiently set up and operate a wide range of machine tools, including mill-turns, mills, lathes, grinders, and powder presses. Align and secure tooling, fixtures, and materials onto machines and modify programs for Robot and/or Vision Systems. Modify programs in response to problems and work from blueprints, setting and checking work to various quality control gauges. Use Keyance, Optical Guide Post (OGP), and Optical comparator to check advanced quality parameters. Troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors, adjusting programs in PLC to manipulate parts to specification. Confer with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information. Complete all necessary documentation and electronic data entries accurately and timely. Move materials necessary to complete assignments, either physically or mechanically. Inspect machined products by selecting and setting up precision gaging to ensure quality specifications. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a commitment to a 100% safe work environment. Support Lean Enterprise initiatives, striving to improve customer satisfaction through enhanced quality and productivity. Modify existing equipment and assist in designing new equipment for continuous manufacturing process improvement. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints and mechanical assembly. Experience with lathe, mill, and machining operations. Familiarity with calipers and precision measuring tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience running CNC machines is preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
