Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . You'll gain broad clinical experience, sharpen your assessment and communication skills, and work with a variety of teams across the hospital. Units you may float to include: Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Medical Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown Medical/Surgical/Cardiac Stepdown Cardiac Telemetry, CVICU, Oncology, Neurology Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, ICU, and more! Float Pool Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience in acute care. Six months of this experience should be within the last year. Certifications: - Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. - LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire.
