Survey Crew Chief

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, is seeking a Survey Crew Chiefs in our Woodridge, IL office, where you will contribute to career-defining projects that reimagine our built and natural world.You'll change the shape of your community by charting plans that become tomorrow's places, creating impact that lasts. And, as part of our Survey team, you will collaborate with 450+ designers, engineers, and scientists to make meaningful, effective change across North America.Here's what you'll do:Manage and perform field survey crew day-to-day operations for Alta, Boundary, Topographic, Route, Residential, and Construction surveys. Maintain schedule and budget requirements of assigned tasks. May perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.We're looking for:3+ years of field surveying experience.High school diploma or equivalent.Trimble robotic total station and Trimble GPS experience is preferred.Good written and verbal communication skills.Requires basic math skills.Ability to work as a one-person survey crew.Possess and maintain a current driver's license in good standing.Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.Ability and willingness to travel for short periods of time.Software skills required in Microsoft Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, and Trimble Business Center (TBC).
