DescriptionHorner Industrial Group, a family-owned company with over 75 years of success in the industrial services industry, is seeking to add a valued team member to our hydraulic cylinder repair shop in West Chester, OH.The Hydraulic Cylinder Service Coordinator & Estimator is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow of the shop while preparing accurate estimates and providing technical support to customers. This role serves as the central point of communication between customers, technicians, and internal departments to ensure efficient job flow, high-quality service, and an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and brings hands-on experience in hydraulic cylinder repair along with strong customer relationship skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate estimates for hydraulic cylinder repairs, rebuilds, and replacementsReview incoming jobs, assess scope of work, and coordinate workflow through the shopServe as point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in-person interactionsProvide technical support and guidance to customers regarding hydraulic cylinder issues, repair options, and timelinesBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-upCoordinate scheduling with shop technicians to ensure efficient turnaround times and on-time deliveryTrack job progress and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customersMaintain organized job files, documentation, and records for all service work and estimatesCollaborate with internal teams including scheduling, shipping, purchasing, and technicians to support operational efficiencyIdentify opportunities for process improvements and workflow optimizationQualificationsExperience working in an industrial repair shop environment (hydraulics, machining, or motor repair)Hands-on experience with hydraulic cylinder repair, rebuilding, and troubleshootingProficient in basic computer systems including ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and email communicationProven experience in estimating/quoting industrial repair workStrong understanding of hydraulic systems and componentsExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneouslyStrong customer service and communication skills (written, verbal, and face-to-face)Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and estimatingSelf-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environmentAbility to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and team membersHorner Industrial Group offers competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.Horner Industrial Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
