Position Details: Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7p-7a) Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: As needed Contract type: Temporary Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate therapeutic gas administration devices and mechanical ventilators Provide emergency respiratory care including artificial respiration, CPR assistance, and cardiac massage Maintain accurate patient therapy charts and identification records Float to other areas as necessary, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability Adhere to facility mission, vision, and core values Qualifications and Experience: Current Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (required) Minimum 1+ year experience in respiratory care, emergency, and intensive care settings Strong knowledge of pulmonary function testing and rehabilitation Experience with respiratory therapy equipment Basic nursery experience is a plus Additional Details: EMR System: EPIC Dress code: Black scrubs required No call requirements This contract role is an excellent chance for skilled respiratory therapists to deliver critical care while benefiting from a stable night schedule.
