Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills to join our team at Mintek Resources as the Supply Chain Coordinator! Under the direction of the Supply Chain Supervisor the Supply Chain Coordinator provides support for all areas of Mintek Resources. The Supply Chain Coordinator will handle customer orders, vendor inventories, logistics for material movements, quotations and other functions as needed in the day-to-day business of Mintek Resources. If you have a background in logistics, trucking or order fulfillment and are interested in joining a fast-paced and fun team, we encourage you to apply!Responsibilities & Duties:Intake of customer orders via email or phoneDaily inventorying of all plants in territoryDaily communication and coordination with Sales staffCoordination of all deliveries to customer sitesDaily communication with trucking companies in territoryDevelop and build relationships with existing and new trucking companiesRequest and record freight rates for customer deliveriesLoad setup and coordination in logistics systems (Salesforce, Transwide, SAP)Movements of materials to secondary processorsCoordination and movement of materials into and out of Mintek storage facilitiesSample management and data entryJob Qualifications:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperienced in Microsoft OfficeGood planning and organizational skillsTeam player, good intrapersonal skillsAbility to multi-task with several simultaneous accounts/ordersSelf-motivated, proactive and task orientedPrevious experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment is preferredPrevious experience with logistics, trucking, order fulfillment or other similar industries are preferredPrevious experience in Salesforce is preferredBachelor's Degree preferredAbout UsREADY TO JOIN A ROCK-SOLID FAMILY?
