Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment. We are currently filling internships and co-ops for our Raleigh, North Carolina office.Pay: $18+ an hourTRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline focusPerform routine tasks under close supervision using well established standards, procedures and drawingsStudents will be exposed to design processes as well as various office and field proceduresTRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING CO-OP ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:Education:Civil engineering major at an accredited university is preferred. Civil Engineering Technology or other Engineering Majors desiring a civil engineering career path will be considered.Students entering their Junior or Senior years are preferredQualifications:Some travel may be requiredU.S. citizenship requiredPhysical:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesMust be able to travel to various project sitesMust be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areasLJB Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
