Job Overview The Delivery Return to Stock (RTS) Lead will coach the Delivery RTS department and assist with handling the day-to-day activities while ensuring a high level of efficiency and safety. The Delivery RTS Lead will coach the Delivery RTS Associates to efficiently inventory and inspect all merchandise that is brought back from deliveries, and confirm that all merchandise is tagged and prepped correctly to be moved to stock or moved to the repair shops, and will also ensure all merchandise has the correct parts and pillows. The Delivery RTS Lead will also assist with checking in Local Delivery Drivers upon return from the route, communicate and work with the Delivery Services and Customer Service departments on any issue in regards to the merchandise being returned or drivers checked in, and work with the Delivery Management team on any potential Driver chargebacks about damaged merchandise. Job Responsibilities & Duties Typical duties include but are not limited to: * Commitment to AFW's safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness. * Coach employees on how to perform the correct furniture handling and loading techniques. * Efficiently use the AWM Scheduler to assign Order Pullers to complete department goals. * Maintain a positive working relationship with the customer service and delivery check-in departments. * Identifying and reading reports, tickets, and UPC labels. * Coach team members to efficiently disassemble merchandise. * Communicates, s, and develops teamwork with the Delivery RTS department. * Inventory Customer Owned Goods (C.O.G) and ensure the paperwork is filled out correctly. * Possess the knowledge and the ability to perform and coach the correct lifting/team lifting techniques. * Confirm all paperwork is filled out correctly by the delivery teams. * Coach team members to efficiently wrap and protect merchandise by using the appropriate materials prior to putting it away. * Create schedules and provide continual training to team members with an emphasis on safety and service. * Interviews, hires, and assists in the training of new team members. * Appraises employee performance communicates goals and expectations, provides honest feedback, and coaches team members. * Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. * Professional with good communication skills. * Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and professionalism at all times. Job Requirements * Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies including but not limited to Dispatch Track, Storis, iPad, Excel, Word, etc. * Have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends. * Responsible for the inventory within the department and able to submit service tickets to the Inventory Control department. * Inspect merchandise and process driver chargeback forms. * Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills * Coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, and maximize efficiency. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED is preferred.; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted in lieu of diploma. Physical Requirements * Lift, lower, push, and pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs. * Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas * Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily * Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back. * The team lift all sizes of merchandise up to and in excess of 100 lbs. * Coaching employees may require lifting, griping, bending, kneeling, stooping, and moving furniture items.
