DescriptionWe are seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) to manage and support project-specific traffic control operations across multiple Oregon job sites. This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and regulatory understanding to ensure all traffic control staff, equipment, and documentation meet Tapani's quality and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate all traffic control efforts for assigned projectsEnsure all efforts follow approved Traffic Control PlansSupport and train FlaggersTrack and submit Flaggers timecardsEnsure adequate and efficient staffing coveragePromote professionalism and a safety-first approachMonitor traffic control performanceMake adjustments based on changing project needsSet up, maintain, and inspect traffic control devicesEnsure compliance with agency standardsCommunicate with Traffic safety teamMaintain accurate documentation and reporting for all traffic control activityEnsure all traffic control work meets compliance standardsProvide flagging coverage as necessaryEssential SkillsWashington and/or Oregon TCS certification requiredWashington Flagger certification requiredIn-depth knowledge of traffic control regulations, safety, and complianceStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAttention to detail and accurate documentationExperience maintaining and inspecting traffic control equipmentAdditional Skills & QualificationsFirst Aid/CPR certification preferredExperience in civil construction or roadway projects a plusAbility to lead, train, and promote a positive team environmentJob Type & LocationThis is a full-time project based position, with travel to job sites across Oregon Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.05 - $39.43 hourly, depending on experience.Tapani Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package, which may include:Monthly $75 phone allowance or company phoneCompany provided truckMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) retirement plan with employer matchLife and disability insurancePaid time off Training and professional development opportunitiesAbout Tapani Inc.Tapani Inc. is a family-owned and operated construction company serving the Pacific Northwest since 1983.
