Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance JOBID: PHS-6121 Position: RCP (Nights) Shift Schedule:19:00 - 07:30 Location: Lynwood, CA, 90262 Job Type: Per diem Start date: 03/09/2026 - 03/08/2027 Pay: $40 to $45 per hourPosition Summary Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager, the RCP I is responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be toward the assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population specific needs and requirements of the patient. In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned/identified as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift. Key Responsibilities Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including: Oxygen therapy Aerosol treatments Nebulizer treatments Ventilator management CPAP/BiPAP therapy Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators Respond to code blue, rapid response, and emergency airway situations Assist with intubation and extubation procedures as needed Monitor patient response to therapy and document findings accurately Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and equipment Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License (or applicable state license) Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Current ACLS certification through AHA (required depending on facility) Current NRP and/or PALS may be required depending on unit/facility Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist / RCP Experience with: Mechanical ventilation Critical care patients Emergency respiratory interventions ABGs and airway management Precision Scans is an equal opportunity employer, committed to cultural diversity.
