Job Description

Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of CEI Inspector, you will be expected to:• Read, interpret, and understand construction drawings and specifications• Conduct and document observations of construction operations as work progresses• Perform material testing in the field and complete associated forms as required• Collaborate with other CEI Inspectors and Project Managers• Provide guidance to less-experienced field staff as needed• Perform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years' experience in construction inspection, one (1) year of which shall have been in roadway, bridge or signal/ITS construction inspection, or an Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree seeking construction inspection experience.TDOT experience preferred.The following TDOT, or equivalent, technician certifications are desired but not required for employment:Asphalt Roadway Paving InspectorAsphalt Plant TechnicianClass 1 Concrete TechnicianSoils and Aggregate TechnicianNuclear Gauge TrainingEPSC TDEC Level IOSHA 10 Safety Training ConstructionGuardrail Installation TrainingIMSA Work Zone Traffic ControlIMSA Traffic Signal InspectorExperience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with SiteManager and LIMS preferred but not required.Strong written and communication skillsAbility to work independently or as part of team.Must possess a valid driver's licenseWork Environment: 40 Hours plus per weekNight-Work as required.Daily travel to and from project construction sites and meetingsWork is outdoors in varying weather conditions.Corradino is an equal opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
