This position requires concentration in the field and above average strength and stamina as well as considerable walking on uneven surfaces and good balance. This position is considered a field position with an average amount of exposure to noise, dust fumes, etc., and requires frequent travel.Typical responsibilities include:Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc.Oversee the daily operation of a survey crewInterpret maps, plats, construction drawings and specificationsDocument work performed and sketchesAdhere to company standards for processing and storing dataPerform various survey calculationsOrganize and maintain survey documentationOperate and maintain survey equipmentCommunicate project status to Project Managers and clientsResearch project information at the Registrar of DeedsPrepare forms and other paperwork in a timely mannerAttend seminars and/or training classesPerform other duties as assignedMaintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:High school diploma or GED requiredSkills/Experience:Construction Staking experience required Valid driver's license required5+ years eperience working in construction requiredMDOT experience preferred About Wade Trim:Wade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
